TA????

Could it be today? Our agency got LOA for 3 people yesterday, so I really doubt my TA is coming. Usually China sends everything together to save postage, but TA and LOA don't come at the same time so??????????? I'm thinking Monday for some reason.....Oh well I don't care as long as it gets here!!!! My agency said it is usually here between 1 and 4 weeks.........

We still won't leave before the end of October..........I'd just like to have that final piece of the paperwork checked off! Wow, did I say Final? That's wierd after 2 years. Now all the stuff to be done in China is Bruce's job. I did all the other papers....Time for daddy to step up. I plan to take it easy and go with the flow in China!!

We are off to get shots today, I still haven't told the boys.......beleive me it's better that they not know until the last minute. Shots are a trauma around here.....

October 28th.................

Our agency says no one is going to China before October 28th because of the holidays, trade fairs, whatever........ How do I feel......like why in the WORLD did we rush all that paperwork and run around like crazy, and spend an extra $75.00 getting those papers there overnight?

I guess that means they expect our TA soon. Guess I should be jumping up and down, but I really don't feel like it........other agency's are leaving in October........Emily will be 27 months old before we get her......sigh.

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Well my friends it is the never ending race around here. I have finished the visas for all 5 of us to travel......now we just pray that we have saved enough to pull this off....I'm really kinda scared to hear what it's going to cost...aack!

Anyways, I'm working on Emily's room like crazy. It's painted, wallpaper is up. We put the bed up today.....we put a twin bed in....Bruce said she was going to fall out of that thing.......OH NO he really doesn't believe I'm going to let her sleep in there does he?....HA! But really I couldn't see the point in putting up a crib as she has been sleeping in a toddler bed....but more than likely, she will be in our room, either in a pac-n-play, or in the middle of Bruce and I. The cat won't be happy, he has claimed more than half our bed now. Bruce and I are not small people so you know I spend most of my time on the edge as the cat pushes me almost off. One night I did hear Flower hit the floor. Bruce must have turned too fast....anyway, we have thick carpet so he was ok.

No word from the agency, but they will be calling me Monday because I forgot to send the check with the Visa's.....yeah I'm doing good here!! Bruce will Fed Ex it on Monday....I guess the world won't end....

Well the last of the last is being finished up now, we are going to do a trial packing job to see if we can fit it all in. The renewed 797 is here, the schools have been notified that the kids will be going to China soon, I've got my wonderful friend Judith, to hold down the daycare while I'm gone...so now I guess we wait for TA............................

Oh my goodness friends. It has been so crazy these past few days! I never knew there was this much paperwork to do after referral! When people say enjoy the wait, they mean it! When you get referral it is go, go, go! My agency is pushing me to get the papers in......I'm taking that as a good sign! Ok, but we still have to meet with Sister Shirley who will be helping us out! She has to put in her 2 cents too!
Ok well the room is not finished......it may not get there....but it's PINK! Ok at least I got that done! Now for the wallpaper and I forgot, we were supposed to pick the bed up tonight....oh well, it's paid for, they will wait!...I will post pictures soon, just can't get caught up.....

Well if I can give any advice at all.....do not do as we did! We waited too long to prepare, now it's CRAZY! Like a dog chasing his tail!! Try to do a little bit each month you are waiting, even if it's buying socks! We have nothing....NOTHING!! Ok, I will not allow myself to panic....I don't care, I will go to China naked at this point! Ok maybe not.....but you get my point!!
